About Us
Powell River Skating Club (PRSC) is a Skate Canada-affiliated club serving the qathet region on BC's Sunshine Coast. Our vision is to inspire everyone to experience the joy of figure skating. Our club’s mission is to create an environment that allows all of our skaters to achieve their personal goals and reach their maximum potential.
PRSC is a registered non-profit society under the B.C Societies Act. A volunteer board of directors administers, operates, and manages the Club in accordance with Skate Canada’s rules, regulations and policies.
PRSC club coaches are trained and certified by Skate Canada and the National Coaching Certification Program. Our coaches strive to ensure all skaters can grow their skills in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
